The Effect
A playing card is folded in half and placed inside a folded banknote.
As the card is slowly pushed through the fold, it appears to turn inside out. The face and back of the card seem to switch places in an impossible way.
The effect is compact, visual and ideal for close-up or street magic.
Before You Begin
You will need one playing card and a banknote or similarly sized piece of paper.
Practise the folding and handling slowly before performing. The illusion depends on keeping the prepared folds neat and the card aligned correctly.
