Amazing Nickel Trick

To begin the amazing nickel spiral tower, first gather a bunch of nickels together, and we'll get started with the stunt.

First of all, you grab three nickels and arrange them as shown in the picture below.

Three nickels are arranged side by side to form the base of a tower of coins.

Now, you place three more nickels, like in the first step, but off-set them a little bit,
touching the one counter-clockwise away from it, as shown in the photo below.

Three more coins are placed on top of the first layer of coins. Make sure that each layer is slightly off set from the previous layer.

Repeat the previous steps a few times until you get the height that you desire, off-setting
each layer slightly from the one below.

Repeat the process as many times as you wish. Dont forget to slightly off set each layer of nickels from the previous one and you will eventually acheive a spiral tower shape.

Here is a photo of a completed Nickel Spiral. You can make the tower higher, but it
will take up a lot more nickels. The coin spiral shown here took up about 50-70 nickels.

A spiral tower of nickels comprising of between 50 to 70 nickels. This requires balance and nerves of steel.

Reasons why this is a great trick :

  1. Good exercise to improve your concentration and patience.
  2. Good practice with handling coins.
  3. Very visual and a great end result.
