Card Snap Change Magic Trick

Learn this amazing snap change sleight where a card changes in the blink of an eye, right in front of you

The card snap change trick is a stunning card sleight which is relatively easy to learn. It requires a little practice to bring it up to speed and to polish your performance but the time invested is well worth it as it looks amazing and can really impress your audience

Cards are seen to change instantly in your hand with a snap of your fingers.

A card is clearly shown to your spectator.

The card suddenly changes into a completely different card right under their nose.

This looks stunning and beyond explanation as the card was right in front of them all the time.

 

Here's how to try out the sleight for yourself

You will need to contrasting playing cards

Place cards together and grib with thumb on on face side.

Place the two cards together lengthwise and grip the non face side with your thumb on the bottom corner.

Face side of cards held with first and second finger.

The cards are gripped on the face side with your first and second finger.

Slide front card in a downwards direction.

Holding the cards in a reasonably tight grip, begin to slide the two fingers downwards as if you were going to make a snapping motion. This will drag the front card under the second one.

Slide card all the way back.

Complete the snapping motion until the card has slid all the way back behind the second card.

Snapped card is hidden from audience's view.

The slid back card should be completely hidden from your audiences viewpoint. You can perhaps hand them the newly appeared card and quickly hide the original top card in your pocket or anywhere out of sight.

This stunt goes to prove that an easy trick, performed well can be very effective at impressing your audience.

The sleight can also be incorporated into many other illusions. It is an impressive stunt to use as a party trick as it is very visual.
